ROGER C. HURD, a resident of Palm Beach County since 1962, has been practicing law in Palm Beach Gardens since 1977. Mr. Hurd received his BA in 1972 from Wabash College and his law degree in 1975 from the University of Florida. Mr. Hurd is a Past-President of the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, a former Director of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, a member of the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and The Florida Bar. He has twice been selected by the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar to serve on the Fifteenth Circuit Fee Arbitration Committee. He is an active blood donor in the community, having given over twenty-four gallons over the past thirty-six years. In December, 1993 he received the "Child Advocate of the Year" award from the South Coastal Division of the Children's Home Society. Mr. Hurd practices in the areas of estate planning, trusts, wills, probate, foreclosures, collections, corporations and commercial litigation. He resides in Jupiter with his wife Cindy. DAVID E. HORVATH has practiced in Palm Beach County since his admission to The Florida Bar in 1974. Mr. Horvath received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Bowling Green University in 1971, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his law degree in 1974, from Duke University. Mr. Horvath is a past Kiwanis Club President and has served on the Attorney-Realtor and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees for the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Mr. Horvath practices primarily in the areas of mediation, real estate and corporate law. He was certified as a State of Florida Circuit Court Civil Mediator in 1991 and is a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators.
